Teaching methods

STEAM places emphasis on developing a student’s creativity through an integrated teaching approach and places great importance on developing critical thinking and promoting a positive attitude to learning.

The STEAM method is well suited to the psychology and learning needs students aged from 12 to 16. Students learn through activities, science research projects, and team building activities. Through these, students develop their team building skills through thinking, analyzing and information processing.

Critical thinking methods help students encourage students to solve problems and to think by themselves. Students who are taught in this way become more interested in their studies and learn more effectively.
Through being taught by using experiential learning methods, students develop self-confidence in their competence through activities, by working in teams, and learning to meet the challenge of solving problems and decision making.

Beside using leading-edge teaching methods as used by the leading world educators, here at WASS, teaching procedures and techniques are combined with a philosophy designed to give motivation, encouragement, guidance and care, At WASS students are respected so that they can become global citizens with the necessary knowledge to be successful and socially responsible members of society in the future.
